Engineering Manager - Enersense International Oy - Porvoo, Suomi

We are currently seeking a person for the position of Engineering Manager for our client in Porvoo. The work will start as soon as possible. In this role, you will act as a key partner to the project manager, ensuring smooth collaboration between different design disciplines and supporting the successful implementation of large projects. Responsibilities and duties: Responsible for all design-related activities in close cooperation with the project manager; Lead and coordinate activities of various design disciplines (e.g., mechanical design, instrumentation, electrical and process design); Define the scope, objectives, and planning of the project in collaboration with stakeholders; Prepare and maintain detailed plans, schedules, and timelines; Plan resources and execution together with other design disciplines; Distribute and prioritize tasks within design teams to ensure an efficient workload; Monitor design progress and report to project management regularly; Ensure all design work complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and legislation; Manage design documentation and ensure quality and consistency; Support change and constraint management throughout the project lifecycle; Identify and resolve technical and coordination challenges proactively. Requirements: Suitable engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master’s); Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design processes; Experience in coordinating design in large projects; Experience in project planning, scheduling, and supporting implementation; Strong technical problem-solving skills; Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; Good change management and constraint handling skills; Ability to manage multiple interfaces and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment; Strong competence in quality assurance and scope management; Ability to work under pressure and facilitate project progress in complex project environments; Fluent in Finnish and English.
