We are currently seeking a supervisor for our client, Viafin Uusimaa Piping Oy, for a long-term position in the Uusimaa region. Viafin Uusimaa Piping Oy is one of Southern Finland's leading specialists in industrial pipe installation work, with strong expertise in process industry piping projects and equipment installation. Viafin Uusimaa Piping is part of the Viafin Service group, which employs over 600 people across Finland. Viafin Uusimaa Piping operates in the Uusimaa area, providing demanding piping projects and repair work for clients in the energy and process industries. Customers trust Viafin for its high quality and delivery reliability. Your workday Your day will consist of supervisory tasks, ensuring the smooth progress of piping projects at customer sites. Projects involve orbital welding of small pipes and special gas systems, primarily in demanding environments such as pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries. You will lead a team of 4-6 people and be responsible for scheduling, task distribution, and project progress. The role also involves close collaboration with clients on work arrangements, schedules, and overall project management. You will participate in material procurement alongside the purchasing manager and oversee that work is carried out according to agreed quality and schedule. You will work with a project manager who supports and supervises you. Projects can last from a few days to several months, mainly at customer sites in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Some work will also be performed at Viafin's workshop in Vantaa, Kaivokselä, for pre-fabrication. Working hours are 37.5 hours per week. Working hours are generally between 8:00 and 16:00 on weekdays but may vary according to project needs, so flexibility is expected. The role requires a personal vehicle as work sites are at customer locations.
