A position for a full-time part-time teacher (history, social studies) is available at Mikkeli High School from August 11, 2026, to April 12, 2027. Subjects taught: history and social studies. The applicant must have teacher qualifications in the subject area according to Regulation 986/1998. The applicant should have an interest and versatile professional skills in teaching and school development, development and collaboration orientation, and the courage to take on new challenges. In upper secondary education, the teacher must master the language used in teaching. Original diplomas and employment certificates, as well as certified copies of diplomas, must be brought to the interview and handed over to the interviewer. Before accepting the position, the person to be appointed must present a criminal background check (as per section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act) to the employer, specifically a background check for working with children. The selected candidate will be subject to a trial period. Acceptance of the position requires the applicant's consent to drug testing. The application must be submitted via the electronic application form by June 1, 2026, at 15:00. The application must include a PDF copy of the qualification certificate.
