We are looking for you to join the team of early childhood education professionals at Vihti to provide quality early childhood education in a learning community. The employment is permanent. The first placement is at Vihtijärvi Daycare Center. Our daycare centers have dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated staff. Our early childhood education emphasizes collaboration and positive pedagogy. Our core values include respectful interaction with children and warm communication. Your work will be supported by your team. Vihtijärvi Daycare Center is a small village daycare near the beautiful Ylisepä buildings and a renovated school on a hill. Nearby are a restored nature trail, a shelter, a ridge with a running track, a lake, and a sports field. The outdoor area is a cozy fenced space where children can engage in diverse outdoor play. Nature is an integral part of daily activities. We often build huts and go on nature excursions in the local environment. The indoor facilities allow for easy creation of various learning environments tailored to children's needs and interests. We value both diverse guided activities and children’s own creative play. The parents’ association and the village association are actively involved in daily activities. Collaboration with the school occurs in practical subjects and various projects. This familiarizes children with the school environment already during daycare, easing the transition to basic education. We expect you to have good teamwork skills and commitment to community.
