Educational Services is seeking A PART-TIME ISLAMIC RELIGION TEACHER for the 2026-2027 school year (position 426007) We are looking for a part-time teacher for basic education in Nurmijärvi municipality to teach students' own religion (Islam) from August 10, 2026, to June 5, 2027. We offer an interesting role as an Islamic religion teacher. The position involves teaching 2 lessons per week. The students are from grades 1-9, and the classes are concentrated at Lukkarin School in Nurmijärvi Kirkonkylä. We expect enthusiasm for the work, the ability to engage with primary school-aged students, pedagogical skills, and good cooperation and interaction skills. Additionally, familiarity with modern teaching tools and methods and a proactive approach are valued. As a teacher, you will have the opportunity to do meaningful work with a multicultural student group. Salary according to OVTES, based on the teacher's qualifications; salary is paid based on hours worked. Qualifications must meet the requirements of the decree on the qualifications of education personnel no. 986/1998. Certificates demonstrating qualifications will be checked during the possible interview.
