The North Ostrobothnia wellbeing services county is seeking a specialist doctor in urology for the surgical service area at OYS. As a specialist doctor, your duties include diverse clinical work at the University Hospital of Oulu and Oulaskangas Hospital. The position also includes on-call duties. Additional training or readiness for training in urological oncology is considered an advantage. The qualification requirement for the specialist doctor position is a license or permit to practice medicine as regulated by the Act on Healthcare Professionals 559/94, and specialist qualification in the relevant field of urology. For those invited to an interview, original certificates of education and employment will be checked. Applicants must be registered in the register maintained by the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Terhikki and/or Suosikki). The selected candidate must provide a medical statement of health before taking up the position (Act on Municipal and Wellbeing Services 7 §). We observe a trial period of up to 6 months for employment relationships. Regarding vaccination, we follow the work and infectious disease law requirements.
