Are you passionate about early childhood education? Join our team at Kaivokselan Daycare Center! We are currently seeking an early childhood education childcare worker primarily for a group of 1-3-year-old children for a fixed-term contract from 3.8.2026 to 31.5.2027. You are the person we are looking for if you have a cheerful and positive attitude and believe that sensitive interaction with children in everyday moments is important. For us, meaningful daily interactions, a warm atmosphere, genuine presence in children’s play, and joy of learning are essential. It is important that working with children brings a smile to your face. Our daycare is located in Kaivokselan, near a school, with forests nearby and short distances to the library or sports facilities. We have versatile indoor and outdoor spaces to implement early childhood education. Kaivokselan Daycare Center is administratively part of a shared operational unit with Koskikujan Daycare Center, managed with a co-leadership model. The unit has two directors, each responsible for different areas: one for staff and financial matters, and the other for client relations and pedagogy. Details of the employment Qualifications: Childcare worker (qualification according to the Early Childhood Education Act) In addition to the qualification, we require: Good spoken and written Finnish skills. Terms of employment are governed by the Municipal General Collective Agreement (KVTES). Salary: €2,610.95 - €2,684.59/month (including August general increase). Experience-based salary supplement of 3-8% applies. Required permits: The selected person must present a valid criminal background check. For those working with children under school age, a tuberculosis screening certificate will be checked (Tartuntatautilaki § 55).
