The Education Services is seeking to fill a fixed-term position from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027 SPECIAL CLASS TEACHER at Klaukkala School (423002) Join us in providing high-quality, diverse, and up-to-date basic education. We are looking for an active, cooperative, and development-oriented teacher. Klaukkala School is a primary school with about 500 students located in the center of Klaukkala. We are seeking a special class teacher for a small regional class. We especially value an student-centered approach and experience working with students with special needs. We also appreciate diverse teaching methods and the courage to try new approaches. At Klaukkala School, we are developing co-teaching, so good teamwork skills, initiative, and readiness to develop inclusive co-teaching are valued. Experience in teaching hard materials in crafts is also considered an advantage. Selection will consider the applicant's suitability for the role in addition to qualifications. In the absence of qualified applicants, those who are formally unqualified may also be considered. The qualification requirements are based on the Decree No. 986/98 on the qualification requirements for teaching staff. The terms of employment are governed by the municipal collective agreement for education personnel (OVTES). The selected candidate must provide a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Children (504/2002).
