Are you the skilled À la carte cook we are looking for? We are seeking an experienced cook for our client until the end of summer 2026 in Jyväskylä. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious à la carte dishes and working comprehensively in the kitchen in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to prepare a variety of dishes, such as different meat and fish dishes, for private customers and events. Sauces are made in-house, and you will prepare dishes from fresh fish, such as pike-perch. During your shift, you will maintain product quality and a positive atmosphere in the kitchen. Work is done together, helping colleagues to make the work more enjoyable. The work starts as soon as a suitable person is found and will continue until around August-September, possibly until the autumn holiday week. The position offers an interesting and fun summer job in a pleasant environment with friendly colleagues. The work is nearly full-time. Shifts can be scheduled on any day of the week, considering days off. It is a seasonal, temporary position, so flexibility regarding shifts is required. Sometimes shifts may be longer, and other times shorter, depending on customer numbers and weather. Are you prepared to work longer days if needed? The work is demanding, but it also means a good paycheck. If you are used to preparing dishes from high-quality raw ingredients from scratch, that is a big plus! Applicants must be of legal age, have a hygiene passport, fluent Finnish language skills, and experience in à la carte cooking. The role requires good stress tolerance and an active work attitude. You should be able to work independently, even if helpers are available. We value diligence and a desire to work at a good pace.
