Eltel Communication's business unit is now seeking a work supervisor for the fault repair team, particularly for fiber optic work. The position is based at our Korson office in Vantaa, but we work in a hybrid model utilizing both on-site and remote work opportunities. The position is permanent and will start according to agreement. As a work supervisor, you will be involved in fault correction for telecommunications networks, especially fiber optic networks. You will oversee both maintenance and fault repair work. You will act as the immediate supervisor for designated technicians. You will organize and schedule your team’s tasks, communicate related matters, handle reporting, and invoicing. You will ensure that fault repairs are carried out safely and cost-effectively. Additionally, you will actively collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and other internal and external stakeholders. We require suitable technical education and previous experience in fault repair, particularly with fiber optic cables and related technology. Prior experience in supervisory roles and working with fiber optic networks is considered an advantage. We are looking for someone with previous leadership experience and sufficient competence in fiber technology. Finnish language skills are required at a sufficient level for the work environment for safety reasons. An approved security clearance is a prerequisite for employment. Your working style should be active and positively assertive, with the ability to lead people and tasks, maintaining a strong focus on results.
