We are responsible for several nationally specialized studies as well as research and teaching at university hospitals. Diagnostic tests play a central role in confirming, ruling out, treating, monitoring, and screening diseases. About 3,300 laboratory and imaging professionals work at HUS Diagnostics Center across more than 150 locations. We are seeking a laboratory nurse/bioanalyst for a permanent full-time position at the HUS Diagnostics Center in the Automation Laboratory in Meilahti. Your tasks relate to laboratory analytics. The Automation Laboratory is a modern, extensive emergency laboratory where the latest technology is continuously implemented. As a laboratory nurse, you will serve as an expert in versatile tasks within an automated process environment, working in clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, and emergency analytics. Additionally, we perform blood gas and drug analysis. The work involves 3-shift work and sample collection at the Meilahti hospital campus. We value not only traditional laboratory nurse skills but also IT proficiency, technical expertise, organizational skills, management of large sample volumes, and good problem-solving skills. The base salary is €3,146.75/month, with possible experience and other allowances.
