As a personal assistant, you will become part of our clients' valuable stories. At Validia, personal assistance clients are individuals covered by disability services. Personal assistance involves helping with tasks at home or outside the home that the individual cannot perform due to illness or disability. Assistance may include supporting hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling participation in leisure activities. Sometimes, the most important role of the assistant is to be a conversational partner and companion: a relaxed person for the individual. The role of a personal assistant is significant in the client’s daily life, aiming to support and enable living at home as long as possible and to offer opportunities for active and meaningful daily life, respecting the client’s autonomy. This job suits you if you seek variety and flexibility, as work is tailored to the client’s needs and wishes. You will also have the opportunity to influence your shifts in agreement with the client. You work independently and commit to agreed practices. An open attitude and your personality will take you far!
