Enersense Engineering is currently seeking a Commercial Director to support our clients' data center projects at multiple sites across Finland. The recruitment is for a permanent position, starting as soon as possible. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy and performance of several data center projects, covering costs, contracts, risk management, and profitability. Responsibilities: Lead the commercial strategy and overall commercial performance of the data center project portfolio. Be responsible for the financial results of projects and the entire portfolio, including margins, cost management, cash flow, and profitability. Manage and develop cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting. Lead contract management and ensure contractual and legal compliance in all projects. Act as the primary commercial contact for clients and lead negotiations and commercial discussions. Ensure the implementation of commercial best practices, processes, and governance models in projects. Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities at both project and portfolio levels. Lead dispute avoidance and resolution strategies as needed. Requirements: Extensive experience in commercial management and demanding managerial roles / quantity surveying. Proven track record of leading commercial performance in large construction projects. Deep knowledge of contract law, procurement strategies, and post-contract commercial management. Experience in data center or other large and complex construction projects is considered an advantage. Demonstrated leadership and development of high-performance commercial teams. Strong financial skills, including margin, cash flow, and profitability management. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinking and ability to operate at both detail and executive levels. Good spoken and written English skills.
