The municipality of Virolahti is hiring for a fixed-term position as an early childhood education teacher from August 31, 2026, to July 31, 2027, at Virojoki Daycare. In 2023, Virojoki Daycare, which offers a diverse, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing learning environment for children, was completed. Join our team of early childhood education professionals! The position is in a group of children under 3 years old. The early childhood education teacher is responsible for the pedagogical approach of the group and works as a professional in early childhood education in collaboration with other staff. We are seeking a development-oriented early childhood education professional who operates according to the principles of a learning community and promotes shared discussion, with daily work reflecting practices that support children's participation and a sensitive approach. Qualifications for the position are in accordance with section 26 of the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) or section 75 of the transitional provisions.
