Welcome to join our team! Turku City’s service entity for children and youth is now offering one permanent position for a childcare worker in Swedish-language early childhood education at Sago Island, a branch of Braheskolan Daycare and Preschool. Our focus is on children's well-being, safety, and development. We work to ensure a stable and well-functioning daily routine where you as a childcare worker can concentrate on your task: supporting children's development and learning together with the team, and contributing to a safe and pedagogically goal-oriented activity. You work responsibly and professionally in everyday situations and have the ability to be a confident, clear, and boundary-setting adult when needed. Qualifications in accordance with the Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018) § 28. We also consider recent graduates or applicants with other suitable education/experience. The person employed must also show a criminal record extract according to § 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act.
