In Naantali, we are hiring a fixed-term position for a Deputy Director of a daycare center and an Early Childhood Education Teacher at Nuhjala Area Daycare from August 17, 2026, to December 31, 2026. You will be responsible for the pedagogy of the group, implementing activities, and developing them together with the team. Work requires expertise in education, early childhood development and learning, as well as early childhood pedagogy. The daily tasks of a Deputy Director include organizing work shifts under the supervisor, reviewing invoices, ordering supplies, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the unit when the supervisor is absent. The qualification requirement for the early childhood education teacher position is the qualification according to the Early Childhood Education Act 540/2018, Section 26. The salary for the early childhood education teacher position is €3,112.63. Additionally, we have a personal allowance based on professional competence and work performance. Before the decision, applicants must provide a health assessment of their ability to perform the duties and a criminal record extract according to the Criminal Records Act, Section 6.2. The position has a 3-month probation period.
