In the scenic Lamminniemi area of Somero, you will support the well-being of the elderly in a 24/7 service housing home. Your tasks As a practical nurse in housing services at Katajakoti, which has 60 apartments for elderly residents, you will be responsible for implementing services with a rehabilitative approach. You will participate in planning, executing, and evaluating practical care and health promotion as part of a multidisciplinary team, following given instructions and procedures. Your key duties include basic care and medication administration, organizing cultural and recreational activities, and supporting residents' participation and functional capacity with a rehabilitative approach. The work schedule is rotating shifts, including three-shift work. What we offer you We offer meaningful work with the elderly in a 24/7 service housing unit. What we expect from you We expect you to have a rehabilitative approach, a responsible attitude towards care work, and a desire to promote residents' well-being and functional capacity as part of a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience in elderly care and a valid LOVe medication license are considered advantages. However, these can also be obtained at the start of employment. Good written and spoken Finnish skills are required. The qualification requirement is a professional degree in social and health care (practical nurse) or an equivalent previous qualification, along with a valid registration in JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registers.
