We are looking for a committed early childhood education teacher for a fixed-term position from August 3, 2026, to July 2, 2027, at Nissnikku Daycare, located in Kirkkonummi. Nissnikku Daycare is located near forests, rocks, and a sports park. Your work will be supported by a wide range of professionals in early childhood education in Kirkkonummi: early childhood education curators, psychologists, language and culture teachers, a preschool curator, a digital coordinator, and other experts. We value your interest and experience in developing pedagogy for young children. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for your team’s pedagogy, assessment, and development, and participate in the daycare’s early childhood education work and development alongside the director. We expect strong collaboration skills and a desire to work communally and constructively. You will have influence over your work, as we encourage activity and new ideas. Qualifications: Qualification as an early childhood education teacher according to the Early Childhood Education Act, section 26 (540/2018). Salary and employment terms are based on the municipal teaching staff collective agreement (OVTES). A five-month probation period will be used for the filling of the position. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check within 30 days of the decision notification (Child Welfare Act 504/2002). The position requires a health statement regarding tuberculosis, according to the Infectious Diseases Act section 55. The goal of Nissnikku Daycare is to support each child both as an individual and as a member of a group, providing experiences of growing and learning together.
