The City of Rovaniemi's Geospatial and Land Plot Services is a professional and solution-oriented unit responsible for managing the city's land assets and implementing measures related to detailed city plans. We are seeking to add a Delivery Engineer to our team for a permanent position. Your tasks as a Delivery Engineer include conducting property transactions, preparing and approving land division plans, and reviewing base maps for detailed city plans. Independent and efficient handling of these tasks is central to the role. The position also involves maintaining the city's geospatial data, engaging in negotiations and discussions with stakeholders, urban planning, building supervision, and customer service. Qualifications for the Delivery Engineer position include a degree in surveying engineering (AMK), technician, or master of science in engineering, and proficiency in Finnish, both spoken and written. The role requires expertise in land consolidation and transaction procedures, land division processes, understanding of detailed city planning, and contract skills. Experience in municipal tasks, legal knowledge, municipal administration, and decision-making skills are considered an advantage. English language skills are also beneficial. The position is within the geospatial and land plot services unit, which includes about twenty land surveying professionals. The vacancy arises due to the resignation of the previous employee. We expect you to have good cooperation and interaction skills, the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, initiative, organizational skills, and strong problem-solving and judgment skills. The final job description and salary will be determined based on the applicant's skills and experience. The salary for the position is €3995.26 per month (from June 1, 2026).
