Kangasala has 14 daycares and 7 pre-primary units. We aim to create the best possible foundation for children's lifelong learning in safe and developing environments that promote learning. A permanent position for an early childhood education teacher is available at Lamminrahka Daycare starting August 3, 2026, or by agreement. Lamminrahka Daycare has nine groups and is located in the new premises of Lamminrahka School Center, on the border of Tampere and Kangasala. We offer various professional workgroups and good opportunities to develop skills and expertise through training, as well as discussions about work in mentoring groups with colleagues. If you are moving to Kangasala from further away, we are happy to assist with finding a rental apartment. We appreciate good communication skills, a positive attitude towards work, and a desire to do meaningful work with children. We hope you are enthusiastic and committed to developing our pedagogical work. Qualifications are in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) or transitional provisions (75 a7): a bachelor's degree in education (LTO), a degree in social and health care (early childhood education), or an equivalent previous qualification, e.g., kindergarten teacher or social educator (Act 272/2005 and Regulation 608/2005). Additionally, good oral and satisfactory written Finnish language skills are required. Applicants must present a criminal record extract and degree certificate. Suitability under Section 55 of the Infectious Diseases Act is required. A trial period will be used at the start of employment. The salary is based on the OVTES collective agreement, starting at 2896.51 euros/month. Recruitment interviews will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026.
