A fixed-term position as a school attendance supervisor is available at Maikkula School from August 10, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The role involves personal guidance as a school attendance supervisor. The working hours are 30 hours per week. Maikkula School is a comprehensive primary school for grades 1-9 located in the southern area of Oulu. Maikkula School is a SOPU school. Approximately 70 education and care professionals work at Maikkula School daily. The school has about 530 students. You will have the opportunity to be part of a welcoming and encouraging work community. The qualification requirement is a professional qualification in school attendance and morning and afternoon activity guidance, a practical nurse qualification with a focus on children and youth, or another suitable professional qualification that includes pedagogical studies or education and guidance studies. Strong social skills and a flexible working approach are also required. Experience working with children with support needs is considered an advantage. The salary for the school attendance supervisor position is based on the job-specific pay system and levels of competence and responsibility, ranging from €2,341.57 to €2,460.00. The actual salary consists of the job-specific pay and any other levels according to the KVTES agreement. Before accepting the position, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract issued under the law (504/2002) section 3, concerning work with children.
