Welder (2 positions) MIG/MAG | 2-shift | Permanent 40-hour contract. We are looking for a welder for our client in the Lahti area, specializing in steel structure manufacturing. The work is on a permanent 40-hour basis, through a staffing agency for the client, with the possibility to transfer to the client's own payroll after 6 months if performance and cooperation are satisfactory. Our client is a financially stable family business with a strong order backlog looking good for the long term. The position offers stability in a domestic family company, with Finnish-made work. The tasks are located at the end of the production process, focusing on welding, assembly, and finishing of completed units. The work includes MIG/MAG welding and assembly of demanding steel frames, trailer structures, and other heavy-duty components. In the final stage, emphasis is placed on quality workmanship, dimensional accuracy, and careful finishing according to production quality standards. We require from you: - Experience in MIG/MAG welding, especially bottom-up welding - Precise and independent work attitude - Welding certifications are a plus, even expired ones are acceptable, and tests can be renewed if necessary - The job is physical, so good basic fitness and safe working practices are important The work is in two shifts, so readiness to work according to shift schedule is expected. Due to the location, a personal vehicle is necessary for commuting. Experience in robotic welding, programming or general operation of robotic welding machines is an advantage, even without programming skills. The position offers opportunities to work with both manual and robotic welding. Work hours and employment: The workweek is 40 hours, and employment terms follow the Technology Industry Collective Agreement (including working hours reduction). The work is in two shifts: morning shift from 6:00 to 14:00 and evening shift from 13:30 to 23:30. The employment begins with a six-month fixed-term contract, after which there is a possibility to transfer to the client’s payroll. Wages: The salary is 1517 €/h depending on skills and experience, following the Technology Industry Collective Agreement. Interested?
