Työtehtävän kuvaus

At Fiskars Group we are unified and driven by our common purpose: pioneering design to make the everyday extraordinary. Join our team and seize the extraordinary opportunity to influence the everyday! We are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Technology Lead to drive the evolution of our HRIS systems. In this role, you will drive both the technical architecture and the operational development of our core HRIS platform (Workday), while also providing hands-on leadership to ensure an excellent employee experience and a winning workplace culture across our HR systems landscape. You will operate at the intersection of system architecture, process design, and our users— guiding our HR community of HRIS users, shaping our technology roadmap, and ensuring that our HR systems are robust, scalable, and user-centered. This is a senior role that requires both deep technical expertise and strong collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Strategic Development Define and own the technical architecture of the Workday platform and integrated HR systems, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and alignment with business strategy. Lead the HR technology roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation, automation, and system enhancement across the HR tech ecosystem. Drive the design and implementation of Workday configurations, business processes, and integrations in collaboration with global stakeholders. Evaluate new Workday features, modules, and third-party integrations — championing adoption where it delivers clear business value. System Management & Operations Oversee configuration and management of Workday business processes, ensuring data integrity, accurate content, and reliable system performance. Manage Workday bi-annual releases across all functional areas, coordinating testing, impact assessment and deployment. Ensure robust data management practices: data entry, validation, clean-up, quality monitoring, and compliance, including mass uploads via EIBs and management of Supervisory Organizations, Cost Centers, and Locations. Lead troubleshooting and resolution of Workday data or system issues, implementing lasting root-cause fixes. Stakeholder Engagement Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of HRIS users and Key Users, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Act as the primary escalation point for the HR Tech team, guiding resolution of the most complex system and process challenges. Collaborate closely with HR, business, and technology stakeholders globally to capture requirements, align priorities, and translate business needs into scalable HRIS solutions. Support organizational change activities, acting as a trusted advisor to HR leadership on system capabilities and constraints. Support, Training & User Experience Champion end-user experience across all system and process designs — ensuring solutions are intuitive, efficient, and valuable for HR colleagues and managers. Oversee the provision of system support, management of the HR support inbox, and delivery of training and user guides for HR teams and managers. Provide escalation support to Workday key users, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and implementing changes and fixes. Reporting, Analytics & Governance Lead the development of HR reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities — taking HR data usage to the next level and enabling data-driven decision-making. Contribute to and manage HR Tech overall development and innovation initiatives. Ensure governance, compliance, and best-practice standards are embedded in all system configurations and processes. Qualifications: Your Background Significant experience in a senior HRIS, HR Technology, or Solutions Architecture role, with deep hands-on expertise in Workday implementation, configuration, development, and reporting. Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring users in an HR technology context. Excellent understanding of core people processes and the ability to translate process design into system configuration and automation. Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder HR technology programmes and releases. Relevant educational background in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Management, or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience. Skills and Competencies Strategic systems thinker with the ability to balance architectural rigor with pragmatic delivery. Strong solution-orientation with a can-do attitude, and a preference for building scalable, root-cause solutions rather than quick fixes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an agile and forward-thinking mindset. Outstanding facilitation, collaboration, and communication skills, enabling effective cross-cultural co-operation in a global matrix organization. Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency, planning ahead to focus on activities that bring the most value and impact. Flexibility and adaptability — comfortable working in a changing environment and leading others through change. Fluent spoken and written English; comfortable working across multiple cultures and time zones. Apply now! Excited about this opportunity? So are we! We are reviewing applications on a continuous basis so please submit your application already today!
