Senior Engineering Manager - Zapier - Etätyö - Globaali

Zapier is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Enterprise Integrations organization in India and serve as our India Eng Leader. In this role, you'll manage two engineering teams that build and maintain the most critical integrations in the Zapier product, while also representing and growing Zapier's engineering presence in India. This team's mission includes building and maintaining key integrations, collaborating with Customer Success, Support, and Sales, resolving issues quickly, and embedding AI into workflows to accelerate delivery. The role involves leading through other leaders and senior ICs, focusing on people leadership, cross-team strategy, org health, and site leadership, while shaping architecture, reviewing designs, and contributing technically when needed. You will own the technical strategy to position Zapier as the most trusted provider of integrations and set standards for AI-native engineering. Responsibilities include managing two teams (8-10 engineers), conducting regular 1:1s, coaching engineers, owning performance management, defining team success metrics, removing systemic blockers, and maintaining communication with leadership. You will champion AI-assisted development, identify AI leverage points, and share learnings across teams. As the India Engineering Lead, you will represent Zapier locally, partner on hiring, ensure smooth onboarding, foster a strong local culture, and act as an escalation point. You will shape technical and product strategies, participate in code and design reviews, and work with stakeholders to meet their needs. Supporting the broader engineering organization involves recruiting, onboarding, and resolving technical issues. The role targets a Senior Engineering Manager level, with a focus on setting direction across multiple teams and coaching managers.
