In Ruka, a scenic sauna restaurant Base Heat&Eat was completed in December 2024 at the top of Saarua fell, with large windows opening directly to Valtavaara and Konttainen. We are now looking for a skilled Head Chef to join our team for the winter season 2026-2027! This is a unique opportunity to work in a new, beautiful restaurant at the top of a fell! Surrounded by wonderful and diverse winter sports activities, and you will meet great people across the fell, so your time will surely be enjoyable. The job includes leading the kitchen team by example, planning menus, and other operational management tasks. Requirements include vocational training in the field and several years of experience as a shift manager or head chef. Start in November 2026, with the contract lasting until the end of the season in April 2027. Competitive salary based on your skills, and accommodation nearby at an affordable price if needed.
