Welcome to work as a licensed practical nurse during the summer at Housing Service Unit Karpalo! Karpalo is a 15-bed housing unit for mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation, with 12 around-the-clock care beds, 2 communal supported housing beds, and 1 interim care place. Your role as a licensed practical nurse involves supporting and guiding residents in daily activities, providing care and supervision, and administering medication. The work is carried out with a rehabilitative approach in a team setting. Our team includes a care assistant, licensed practical nurses, a nurse, and a service manager. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM US? WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE? - A qualification as a licensed practical nurse or equivalent, and registration with JulkiTerhikki/JulkiSuosikki (Valvira). - Proficiency in Finnish. - Valid medication license and hygiene passport.
