In your work, you will be part of the daily operations at social and health care sites located in East Helsinki. Your task is to ensure that the premises are clean, safe, and comfortable for residents and visitors. The areas to be cleaned include, among others, resident rooms, swimming pool area, offices, changing rooms, hallways, sanitary facilities, and other public spaces. Your duties mainly involve maintenance cleaning and basic cleaning tasks upon request, but also include interactions, smiles, and small moments where you are present. During cleaning, you will exchange news with staff, visitors, and residents, and contribute to a warm and positive customer experience. We are looking for someone who is genuinely customer service-oriented and comfortable working with different people in changing situations. Success in this role requires previous experience in cleaning (2 years) and/or a professional qualification in institutional cleaning. You will have access to a variety of cleaning tools and machines. The selected candidate must also provide a criminal background check before starting employment, suitable for working with elderly people. Depending on the nature of the cleaning site, it may also be required to have a vaccination against certain infectious diseases (either vaccination or immunity from previous illness) in accordance with section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act.
