We are looking for an proactive and skilled Network Designer for planning water network expansion and replacement investments. In this role, you will utilize your planning expertise practically as part of a knowledgeable team. The position is a fixed-term contract for about one year, and employment is through Academic Work for Alva-yhtiöt. Your responsibilities include: Water supply network planning mainly using NovaPoint software, Participating in planning meetings and close collaboration with stakeholders, Conducting site inspections when necessary, Planning and coordinating diverse customer projects, Utilizing Microsoft 365 tools in daily work. We are looking for: Several years of experience with network design software, primarily NovaPoint (alternatively Tekla Civil / Civil 3D), Fluent Finnish language skills (spoken and written) for independent work, Experience in water supply network planning (e.g., from consulting firms or water utilities), Good IT skills, Willingness to work at the Jyväskylä office and flexibility to travel for site inspections. We appreciate if you have: Experience in water supply network planning using NovaPoint software, Previous work experience in the water sector.
