Lahti Upper Secondary School Gaudia operates partly in new and partly in renovated premises at the Paavola campus. Most of the 1,440 students at Gaudia study on the general line. Additionally, Gaudia offers national special tasks including English-language IB diploma education, as well as art and music. We hope to welcome active, cooperative, and participative individuals to our excellent work community. We especially value upper secondary school experience. The qualification requirement is a license as a special education teacher for upper secondary school. Teacher qualifications are determined according to the Decree No. 986/98 on the qualifications of education personnel. When filling permanent positions, only applicants who meet the qualification requirements at the end of the application period will be considered. Please indicate your qualification status in your application and attach copies of certificates proving your qualifications; original certificates may be requested at the interview. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check as required by law 504/2002. A drug test certificate may also be requested. The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
