Tammenlehvän residential unit is located in Petsamo, near outdoor recreation areas in Kauppi. The unit comprises three group homes with a total of 45 residents receiving round-the-clock care. We provide care and support to help residents experience their lives as meaningful and valuable. Our multidisciplinary team is characterized by development-oriented and open-minded attitudes. We respect residents' autonomy and aim to offer them a retirement that reflects their personality. You are an important person in the daily lives of our residents. You perform caregiving work wholeheartedly to ensure that residents' lives are active and based on their personal wishes. As a care assistant, your work includes assisting residents with basic care, supporting active daily living, and maintaining quality documentation. In your work with residents, you support their functional capacity in daily activities, such as helping with bathing, dressing, eating, and outdoor activities. Additionally, you are capable of performing tasks related to food service, such as maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, preparing meals, and fulfilling tasks outlined in the kitchen's self-monitoring plan. What kind of professional are we looking for? You have completed training as a care assistant. You hold a hygiene passport. You speak and write Finnish fluently. You have a customer-oriented mindset, good communication skills, and a willingness to develop. You have previous experience working in elderly care services. Start date is negotiable. The position is full-time, averaging 38 hours and 15 minutes per week. The work includes morning, evening, and weekend shifts. The probation period is six months. Before starting, the selected candidate must present a salmonella certificate, a criminal record extract according to section 6, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Records Act, and must have valid vaccination protection according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016).
