We are looking for a kitchen manager for Bolt Arena. We are seeking a motivated kitchen manager to strengthen our team as our current professional transitions to new challenges. Bolt Arena is known as the home ground of HJK and as Töölö Football Stadium. Our restaurant has facilities for 200 people. Additionally, we provide catering services in Bolt Arena's boxes and private cabins, as well as outdoor sales points during major events. Our kitchen is responsible for daily lunches, meals for sports teams, catering for football matches, kiosk sales, conference catering, and buffets for various dinners and corporate events. We also aim to actively develop and expand our operations to better meet future demand. We have a solid foundation, and not everything needs to be rebuilt from scratch. Our environment is busy. We respond to various requests for proposals quickly, and changes with additional orders are normal for us. We are looking for someone who can cook well, is cooperative and responsible, and is a professional in the kitchen. You will have a strong grasp of your work when you are accustomed to handling various events with buffet service and can calculate the margins of your planned offerings, including waste. Collaboration and negotiation skills are essential for success. Additionally, you need good stress tolerance and flexibility. A typical workday at Bolt Arena can range from taking care of a lunch for a few dozen people on a regular Monday, where you manage the entire restaurant alone, to a nearly full concert event with almost 18,000 customers, where you lead a team of about twenty people. Our busiest season is in the summer, but there is also some time to breathe. Previous experience in event catering and festival environments is considered an advantage. The employment is permanent and full-time. The monthly salary ranges between 3500-4000 euros depending on your experience. Your employer is Helsingin Rock and Roll Oy.
