Mänttä-Vilppula District Heating and Water Supply Ltd is a limited company established in 1988, owned by the city of Mänttä-Vilppula. It is responsible for district heating operations in Mänttä town center, Kolho, and the Mustalahti industrial area, as well as water supply in Mänttä-Vilppula. The company maintains the area's critical infrastructure to ensure reliable services for residents and businesses every day of the year. The municipal technical installer role offers varied workdays and hands-on tasks. You will be responsible for maintenance and renovation of water supply facilities and networks, as well as facility upkeep. The work mainly involves mechanical installations and fieldwork. You will have a tangible impact on the area's infrastructure and perform work whose importance is visible in people's daily lives. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys practical work, approaches tasks with a positive attitude, and contributes to a great work community. The role requires good situational awareness and the ability to operate smoothly in quickly changing situations. Suitable educational backgrounds include HVAC, construction, or electrical and automation fields. Experience in water supply facilities or infrastructure construction, especially in HVAC, is considered an advantage. Basic computer skills are required, and a valid B driver's license is necessary. You will be part of a close-knit team of eleven, where open cooperation, good humor, and straightforward work are valued. The work community supports each other, and daily tasks are carried out with a relaxed but responsible approach. The working language is Finnish, so fluent Finnish skills are expected for smooth communication. The position requires a water work card, Tieturva 1 certification, a safety card, a hot work permit, and first aid training. Salary is based on the general collective agreement of the KT sector, considering your skills and experience. Working hours are 38.25 hours per week on weekdays.
