Pentasia is partnering with an exciting high-growth online sweepstakes business that has recently completed a major rebrand and is entering its next phase of expansion. As the business continues to scale, they are seeking a Director, Product & Commercial Analytics to become a key member of the leadership team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will sit at the centre of commercial decision-making, helping shape product strategy, player growth, retention, payments performance, profitability, and overall business success. This is far more than a reporting function. The successful candidate will use data to influence strategic decisions, challenge assumptions, identify growth opportunities, and provide leadership with the insights needed to scale a profitable and sustainable gaming business. Key Responsibilities include owning and optimizing key business metrics such as LTV, ROAS, retention, profitability, player value, and cohort performance; evaluating acquisition quality, CRM effectiveness, VIP performance, and player lifecycle activity; developing frameworks for investment and resource allocation; partnering with Product and Operations teams to assess game performance, promotional effectiveness, loyalty initiatives, and personalization strategies; analyzing engagement, conversion, retention, and monetization metrics; supporting commercial decision-making through supplier and content performance analysis; analyzing payments performance, fraud trends, chargebacks, KYC outcomes, and redemption behavior; evaluating sweepstakes economics and identifying operational or compliance risks; building forecasting models; supporting budgeting, planning, and scenario analysis; developing reporting frameworks and KPI governance; and delivering strategic recommendations. Requirements include 5+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, or related fields; strong SQL and BI expertise; ability to translate data into decisions; experience with senior stakeholders; excellent communication skills; preferred experience in Sweepstakes, Social Casino, or iGaming; knowledge of player value modeling, CRM analytics, payments, fraud, or retention; experience with forecasting, experimentation, and statistical analysis; familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, or Python. The role offers a salary of $135,000–$160,000 plus benefits and equity. The role is remote, with location requirements in North America and Europe.
