We are looking for a temporary substitute for the regional daycare center director in the sunny city of Naantali for the period 1.8.2026-31.12.2026 (start date can be adjusted by agreement). The substitute position may potentially be extended. The regional daycare center director's responsibilities include developing and leading early childhood education and preschool education in their own area. The primary focus is on working in the Taimo area, which includes Soinisten and Taimo daycare centers. Additionally, the role involves preschool leadership tasks connected to Taimo School. The qualification requirement for the regional daycare center director position is compliance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018, §31), considering transitional provisions. If qualified applicants are not available, we also consider applicants with other suitable education and experience. Please note that interviews will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, starting at 14:00. Terms of employment are governed by the Municipal General Collective Agreement (OVTES). The salary according to Naantali's early childhood education pay scale is €3757.75 per month. Additionally, a personal allowance is available, determined based on professional competence and work performance.
