The adventure daycare Touhula Vekaravuori is located in Tilli in Espoo, next to the central park. In line with our theme, the names of our groups are Naavanotko, Tuohitupa, and Kaarnakolo. On the upper floor, we regularly visit to cheer up elderly residents on the similarly named wards. We explore the surrounding environment of the daycare almost daily; the forest offers us diverse learning environments and new wonders every time. Your tasks as a daycare assistant: As a daycare assistant, you are an important part of the team, and your work directly affects the well-being of children and the daily operations of the daycare. Your core tasks include: - Cleanliness and comfort: Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the daycare according to Touhula’s cleaning program. Also take care of the condition of tools and equipment. - Food service: Responsible for tasks in the distribution kitchen, such as dishwashing, receiving supplies, ordering, and documentation according to the self-monitoring plan. - Laundry and supplies: Take care of textiles, such as bedding and toys, in cooperation with other staff. - Daily support: Assist with children’s dressing and other supportive tasks as needed, ensuring a safe day for children. - Initiative: Anticipate daily needs proactively and act flexibly as part of the work community.
