We are seeking a residential care worker for Västinkartano in Ylistaro, Seinäjoki. The work begins by agreement. Västinkartano is a 24-hour service housing unit that provides a home for 60 residents. The main duties of the residential care worker include managing the unit's distribution kitchen tasks, laundry duties, and cleaning work. Kitchen tasks involve all daily activities of the distribution kitchen, including preparing meal carts for distribution, dishwashing, placing food orders, and monitoring self-control. Food preparation is not part of the job; hot meals are supplied by the Seinäjoki central kitchen. Laundry duties include sorting and distributing clean laundry and collaborating with the laundry service (e.g., placing orders). Cleaning days involve basic cleaning tasks in the units. We hope you are willing to work with the elderly and have previous experience in similar tasks. We require a proactive attitude, commitment to work, initiative, customer service and interaction skills, a positive attitude towards the elderly, as well as problem-solving and decision-making skills. Terms of employment and salary are based on the SOTE agreement. The task-specific salary is €2,337.00/month. A probationary period applies to the employment.
