Join us at Kivennava Daycare Center. We are looking for a childcare worker for a fixed-term position at Kivennava Daycare Center. Our daycare has six different groups for children aged 1-5 years. You can express a preference for which age group you would like to work with. We are a warm-hearted and cooperative daycare. Our staff combines strong professional skills with an understanding of the significance of early childhood education. Our daycare strongly emphasizes cooperation across groups and working together. You will have the opportunity to influence and showcase your pedagogical strengths and skills. All our children’s groups go on weekly excursions in the local environment. We are located near excellent public transportation connections, in the immediate vicinity of Tapiola center. As an early childhood educator, you will ensure the smooth daily operations with your team. An important part of your work is collaboration within the team to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for children. We value versatile skills and experience from various work backgrounds. You can also be changing careers; we will provide training for all our employees. We support the development of your skills and also enable studies alongside work. Workplace name and address: Kivennava Daycare Center, Kivennavantie 21, 02130 Espoo. Working hours: 38 hours 15 minutes/week. The position is fixed-term from August 3, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The final selection will be made after the application period ends and interviews are completed. Qualifications: According to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018, Section 28, Regulation 753/2018, Sections 3 and 4). Suitable basic degree in education and guidance, social and health care, or an equivalent qualification that includes or has been supplemented with sufficiently extensive studies in child care, upbringing, and education. For example, childcare worker, daycare worker, or practical nurse (child and youth care program). We require good interaction skills and a positive attitude. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as specified in the Criminal Records Act, Section 6.2. Infectious disease law requires those working with preschool children to assess the risk of tuberculosis transmission.
