Tehtävänkuvaus
We are seeking occupational therapists for local rehabilitation positions in Kangasala and temporary positions in Tampere. We provide services aimed at promoting and maintaining individuals' health and their ability to function in their environment. Your main responsibility will be assessing children's occupational therapy needs and providing therapy in individual and group formats for child clients. Permanent position: Your primary task will be assessing and providing occupational therapy for children in Kangasala, Pälkäne, Orivesi, and Kuhmoinen. You will be part of the Pirkanmaa Wellbeing Services' Kangasala physiotherapy and occupational therapy unit. Your work partner will be another children's occupational therapist, and you will work closely with children's physiotherapists. Your main workplace is Kangasala Social and Health Center, which has well-equipped therapy rooms, including consultation rooms and a movement/motor skills hall. In addition to client sessions, your duties include visits to clients' environments. Temporary positions: You will be part of the Tampere children's physiotherapy and occupational therapy unit within Pirkanmaa Wellbeing Services. Your team consists of eight children's occupational therapists. The work locations are Tipotie and Tammelakeskus health centers. The therapy facilities are well-equipped, including consultation rooms and a movement/motor skills hall. Your duties include client sessions and visits to clients' environments. Qualifications: You must be a licensed occupational therapist in Finland. Experience in children's and/or adult occupational therapy is considered an advantage. If qualified applicants are not available, we may hire a student who has completed 160 ECTS credits by the application deadline. For permanent positions, a B-class driving license and the ability to use a personal car are advantageous. Additional information: - We hope you can start by September 1, 2026, or as agreed. - Temporary positions last until February 8, 2027, and January 6, 2027, respectively. - The employment is full-time with regular working hours. - Candidates must present a criminal record extract as per section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act before starting. - The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016). - Interviews will be held on August 4, 2026, at Kangasala Social and Health Center.
