Welcome to the position of Early Childhood Education Social Worker in Janakkala! We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Social Worker for a permanent position starting from August 1, 2026. The work location at the start of employment is Päiväkoti Kivitasku. The work location may change during employment. In Janakkala's early childhood education, you have the opportunity to do meaningful work for children and families as part of a warm and professionally strong community. As an Early Childhood Education Social Worker, you play a central role in supporting children's social development, peer relationships, well-being, and participation in daily activities. You will work closely with your team, a consulting special education teacher, and the daycare director to develop an inclusive operational culture. You will have the chance to influence early childhood education pedagogy, utilize your expertise in family work and child protection, and strengthen family participation and well-being. The natural environment and active daily routines provide excellent conditions for play, movement, and diverse activities together. Would you be our new colleague? We expect you to be proactive, initiative-taking, and versatile. Additionally, good oral and written skills in Finnish are required. We enjoy working here. The qualification requirement is a degree in early childhood education in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). Applicants graduating in summer 2026 will also be considered. The position is subject to the KVTES collective agreement. The salary for an Early Childhood Education Social Worker is between €2798.25 and €2911.00 per month, with possible additional allowances according to KVTES. The working hours are general working hours (38.25 hours/week). A six-month probationary period applies. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract related to working with children, as required by law (504/2002). Interested?
