Vantaa City, Education and Learning, Early Childhood Education Husaaritien Early Childhood Education Unit Husaaritie 1 c, 01700 Vantaa Employment period: Fixed-term 03.08.2026 - 31.05.2027 We are seeking two part-time childcare assistants for Husaaritien Daycare Center, in the 3-5-year-old group in Menniäisten (Mondays) and the reduced group in Hiitinen (Mondays and Tuesdays). At Hiitinen, there is also an opportunity to substitute as a teacher if you have the required qualifications. Husaaritien Daycare Center has 7 groups. The center was built in 2003 in a quiet residential area, and the facilities are cozy and versatile. There are 2 outdoor areas, and a playground and forest are nearby. Meals are served in the groups. There is a lot of collaboration between groups. Each team has three staff members. Husaaritien Daycare Center has its own director, whose responsibilities do not include other daycare centers. The educator community at Husaaritien is positive and professional; feedback from casual staff is also commendable. Staff turnover is low, and there are many qualified teachers and childcare assistants. The professional skills of employees are utilized for the benefit of the entire unit. New employees are welcomed. You can use your strengths and learn from others. We expect you to have excellent interaction skills with children and to be flexible. You get along well with colleagues, and collaboration with parents is natural. You should be enthusiastic about your work and greet children warmly, which provides a good foundation for working in our daycare.
