The Elisenvaaran Comprehensive School of the Municipality of Pöytyä has a fixed-term position for a school assistant (vacancy no. 2009) to be filled from August 10 to December 18, 2026, and from January 7 to June 5, 2027. The working hours are 23 hours per week. The placement is at Kyrö unit in a small class for special education (grades 1-8T) within the activity-based teaching area. The duties include supervising morning and afternoon activities. Working shifts are scheduled between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. according to a rotating schedule. We expect the selected school assistant to have experience in diabetes care during the school day and working in a special class. Good cooperation and interaction skills, as well as a development-oriented work attitude, are valued. Qualifications are in accordance with the decree 986/1998 on the qualifications of education personnel. The position is subject to a four-month probation period and terms according to the Local Government Collective Agreement (KVTES). The selected candidate must provide an acceptable criminal background check for working with children within one month of being notified of the selection. The appointment is conditional until the certificate is submitted.
