Hyvinkää City is seeking Catering and Cleaning Services Worker (2 positions) and Part-time Cleaning Services Worker (1 position) for fixed-term employment from August 10, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The full-time workweek is 38.25 hours and the part-time workweek is 19.125 hours. We are responsible for daily cleaning of daycares and schools, as well as providing meal services to approximately 7,500 children. You will help ensure smooth daily operations. The duties of the Catering and Cleaning Services Worker include maintenance and basic cleaning, as well as assisting in the kitchen. We require a relevant qualification in cleaning services or institutional cleaning, or sufficient work experience in similar roles, along with a hygiene passport. Proficiency in Finnish, both spoken and written, is required. Experience in meal service assistance is considered an advantage. We value good customer service and teamwork skills, an independent and planned work approach, and flexibility. Salary and employment terms are based on the KVTES agreement. The work is daytime work on weekdays. The salary for the Catering and Cleaning Services Worker is €2,231.52/month, and for the Cleaning Services Worker €2,204.60/month. Salaries do not include the upcoming August 1, 2026, raise. Employment conditions are governed by KVTES. Employees in catering and cleaning services have the opportunity to eat at a tax value.
