In elderly care services, in 24-hour residential care, a temporary nursing position is available from May 11, 2026, to January 31, 2027. The initial placement for the temporary position is at Venla and Väinö in Vimpeli. Venla and Väinö is a home with 34 residents. In 24-hour residential care, we emphasize a resident-centered approach, daily individuality, and meaningfulness. Also important are everyday rehabilitation to maintain residents' functional capacity and resources, as well as high-quality end-of-life care. We value experience in elderly care, good cooperation and communication skills, the ability to work independently, flexibility and creativity in changing conditions, and responsibility. The work involves two-shift work. The qualification requirement is a licensed nurse degree, Law 559/1994. Language skills required are good spoken and written Finnish. Medication licenses must be completed. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement, with a task-specific salary of €2896.65 per month at the start of employment. A probationary period applies during the filling of the position. A certificate of health status and a criminal record extract according to law 741/2023 § 28 must be presented before accepting the position. The selected candidate may be required to undergo a drug test. HYVAEP is a smoke-free workplace. The position requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per the Infectious Diseases Act § 48 and a tuberculosis certificate as per § 55.
