As a project engineer at Granlund, you will be part of the industrial electrical design team, working closely with the project manager and designers. You will receive support from experienced colleagues, and the role offers an excellent growth path, where drawing and assisting with design tasks serve as the first step towards independent electrical design and supporting project management tasks. As your experience grows, you will participate in site visits and work with clients. The team works in a hybrid model mainly on-site at the Malmi office. Job Tasks include participating in the design of large electrical systems for industrial sites and real estate, creating technical drawings and diagrams, assisting with project management tasks and updating documentation, collaborating with the project manager, designers, and other stakeholders. We are looking for someone with previous experience in electrical design, at least through summer jobs or internships, preferably in industrial projects. Your skills should include relevant electrical engineering education, strong skills in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or CADMATIC, general system-oriented thinking, ability to learn new systems (e.g., project banks, Solibri, Navis, MS Office tools), fluent Finnish, and at least moderate English skills. Previous field experience, such as work as an electrician, is appreciated. You are a team player, precise, careful, organized, and responsible. Some client sites require passing a basic security clearance. The recruitment process is handled by Academic Work, including personality and cognitive ability tests.
