The service housing at Östanlid offers round-the-clock care for the elderly. The service housing consists of four group homes: Betsy, Victor, Elise, and Valter. Our focus is on the well-being of the elderly and a meaningful daily life. The position is a part-time temporary contract from 31.8.2026 to 29.8.2027. The employment percentage is between 75–90%, according to agreement. Your duties as a nursing assistant include supporting the elderly in daily activities together with the team, based on their individual needs and wishes. The work includes, among other things, personal care, assistance with household chores, meals, outdoor activities, and contributing to a safe and meaningful daily life for the elderly. Qualifications for nursing assistants are a nursing assistant degree or an equivalent qualification such as a helper caregiver or primary caregiver, with registration in Valvira. Who are you? We expect flexibility and good teamwork skills. You are interested in developing your own work, willing to take on new challenges, and understand the importance of teamwork. We also require good knowledge of both Swedish and Finnish, spoken and written. We prefer that you also have a valid medication law certificate.
