Read more: www.veo.fi We are looking for an Information Security Officer to lead and develop information security at VEO Group. In this role, you will be part of the HSEQIS organization and play a key role in ensuring that information security is effectively managed, continuously improved, and aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements. VEO has a certified ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS), which forms the foundation for systematic information security management. This role requires working on-site at Vaasa headquarters, with occasional travel to other VEO locations in Finland, Sweden and Norway to support collaboration across the company. Remote work is also possible according to our hybrid working policy. Responsibilities You are responsible for the maintenance and development of VEO’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensuring its effectiveness across the organization. · Develop, implement, operate, and continuously improve VEO’s ISMS · Ensure ISO 27001-based ISMS effectiveness and alignment · Ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements · Support business segments and organizational functions in information security and risk management · Educate and guide employees on security topics · Follow ICT developments and propose improvements · Maintain collaboration with stakeholders and authorities · Support audits and corrective actions · Promote continuous improvement Qualifications and Skills · Technical degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) or equivalent · Knowledge of ISO 27001 and ISMS development · Understanding of ICT environments · Knowledge of regulation and legislation · Analytical and systematic mindset · Strong communication skills · Fluent Finnish and English (Swedish is an advantage) What We Offer · Role in a certified ISO 27001 environment · Influence on company-wide practices · Collaboration with business and ICT · Continuous development environment · A workplace culture committed to employee well-being, learning and safety · A stable, safety-focused working environment with long-term perspectives · Good employee benefits, such as flexible working hours, lunch and wellbeing benefit Are you interested?
