The Raahen Parish is seeking a children's supervisor for a permanent position. Join the Raahen Parish as a children's supervisor! Engage with children and families, supporting them in everyday life and during holy occasions. In this role, you will plan, implement, and develop our parish’s early childhood education and family activities in collaboration with the early childhood education team. You will work in day and family clubs, family services, events, camps, celebrations, etc. The work is varied and involves supporting families and Christian upbringing. Occasionally, work includes evening and weekend shifts. We expect you to be a motivated professional in the education sector. You will work with children and families, possessing good interaction, cooperation, and teamwork skills, as well as digital skills. Since the work covers the entire parish area, having access to a personal vehicle is essential. The position requires a 180-credit basic qualification in Education and Guidance (children’s supervisor), which includes the special expertise needed for the children's supervisor role in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, or a suitable alternative qualification supplemented with sufficient early childhood education and family activity modules, containing the necessary special expertise. The selected candidate must be a confirmed member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. The children's supervisor is a full-time spiritual worker with a salary level according to KirVESTES 402 (2434.28 €/month), with possible experience-based additional pay. The position is full-time, 38.15 hours/week. The trial period is six (6) months. Before starting employment, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract according to the Criminal Law (RL 6 & 2) and a medical certificate of health.
