We are seeking an assistant for a 33-year-old woman in Jyväskylä, Keljo, through the Central Finland Wellbeing Services County's personal assistance center. The employer has a partial spinal cord injury and moves independently in a manual wheelchair but needs assistance with pushing on thresholds, longer distances, and uneven terrain. Uses an electric wheelchair outdoors. Transfers are possible independently from a standing position, and can walk short distances with a rollator. The work involves 34 hours per week for daily activities and 30 hours per month for leisure time, with hours shared between two assistants. Work shifts are planned a month in advance, considering the employer's needs. The work is mainly mornings and afternoons, but may also include evenings and at least two weekends per month. Assistance is needed with daily activities such as dressing, hair styling, and cooking. Household chores including cleaning, washing dishes, making the bed, and taking out the trash are part of the assistant's duties. The employer enjoys movies, festivals, and concerts, but especially values outdoor activities and being in nature when possible. The employer likes crafting, making macramé, and baking. Animals, especially dogs and cats, are close to the heart, although there is no pet currently. The employer is actively involved in organizations and peer meetings and speaks about experiences to students and peers. Salary: Heta Collective Agreement A 12.89 €/h + possible experience bonuses. We are looking for a conscientious, flexible, energetic, talkative, open, and warm-hearted person. Previous experience is not required; motivation for the work and a good sense of humor are considered advantages. Employment is always private. The person selected for the position will be employed by the person they assist. Applicants will be contacted personally for interviews. The work begins on June 8, once a suitable assistant is found.
