As a commissioning engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning critical diesel power generator sets and their automation systems in a data center environment. Your task is to ensure the proper operation and documentation of the systems in close collaboration with the expert team. Your focus will be on commissioning and testing backup power systems, especially diesel generator sets and their control automation, in a data center environment. The work is practical and requires precision and problem-solving skills. - Commissioning of diesel power generator sets - Point testing - PLC point testing - Ensuring automation functionality and software correctness - Troubleshooting and repairs - Documentation - Additional tasks may include electrical installations or site supervision. We are looking for - Suitable educational background, e.g., electrical engineering, automation technology, energy technology, or automotive industry - Fluent English skills, Finnish language skills are an advantage - Proactive and persistent attitude. It is an advantage if you have - Hobbyist interest or curiosity about engines - Knowledge of PLC automation or Modbus/Profibus protocols - Familiarity with data center environments - Work experience in construction site supervision or electrical installations - Work experience in industrial plant environments.
