Työtehtävän kuvaus
We offer a responsible and versatile position within the professional education environment. The teacher's duties primarily involve teaching and guidance in vocational and specialized vocational qualifications in business, through face-to-face, remote, or blended learning, as well as assessing qualifications in collaboration with working life. We are looking for an interactive and organizational developer with up-to-date and comprehensive work-life knowledge and a collaborator with companies and organizations. The ideal candidate is a continuously learning expert. The selected person should have broad expertise in various areas of business. Additionally, we require expertise in leadership, which may have been gained through managerial experience or skill development. We also require skilled pedagogical competence: the ability to design pedagogically effective training modules and implement them. Furthermore, we require: - a relevant higher education degree (e.g., Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration) - pedagogical studies - at least three years of work experience in the teaching field - a driving license (car) - good interaction and collaboration skills - proficiency in Finnish and English - strong pedagogical skills - the ability to plan and implement work-life-oriented training - good organizational skills - good digital pedagogical skills - commitment and a developmental approach to work - flexibility and adaptability to change. It is considered an advantage: - teaching experience in a vocational institution - managerial experience. Teacher qualification requirements are determined according to the Decree on Qualifications of Education Personnel 986/1998. If the qualification is lacking, the position can be filled temporarily for up to one year. If only pedagogical studies are missing and the candidate has been accepted to study these, they can be hired for a period of 1-3 years. The pre-employment health check and drug test will be conducted after the start of the job during the trial period. The employee is responsible for obtaining the criminal background check. The position belongs to the Business, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Media unit. The supervisor is the unit's training manager. The primary work location is at Satamakatu 19 C, Rauma.
